    As IFNE enters its 25th year, we can no longer call ourselves a “young society.” A quarter of a century of history carries with it the weight of achievements built by our pioneers, and it is with deep respect for their legacy that I accept the honor of serving as your new President.

The International Study Group of Neuroendoscopy [ISGNE] was established by 15 pioneering neurosurgeons practising Neuroendoscopic Surgery, who gathered in Kobe, Japan on September 25th, 2001 and exchanged ideas on how to further promote neuroendoscopy.
