IFNE has the following purposes and pursuits the following objectives:
to contribute in the advancement of neuroendoscopy in a local, national and international level, by representing and collaborating with all neurosurgical or sister disciplines’ Societies in Commissions, International Organizations and Forums
to contribute in the effective communication among neurosurgeons actively practicing neuroendoscopic and minimally invasive neurosurgical operations, as well as basic scientists, engineers and other specialists in related fields and disciplines
to mediate for the development and promotion of scientific knowledge, surgical technique and instrumentation within the area of neuroendoscopy
to promote worldwide collaborative research in the field of neuroendoscopy for the benefit of patients
to enhance active co-operation, education and training among neuroendoscopic surgeons on a worldwide scale
to develop guidelines and good-practice indications for neuroendoscopic procedures
to promote high standards of training in the neuroendoscopic subspecialty on an international level for present and prospective neuroendoscopic surgeons
